If someone purchased the whole thing: a barnominium on the high ground, a little boathouse down by the water, a full compound. It could be beautiful. Another path: a developer builds three homes and goes more vertical than horizontal. Three PINs. About an acre together. Walk it.
Street name is Worsley Street. Photos from Steve, pulled from the clips he sent. County aerials below are map context.
The three parcels
They sit together.
River lot at 102. High lot with two sheds just behind it. Same-size lot to the right, a bit lower. Same owner. Together they are about an acre. Someone may buy one, two, or all three.
The compound
If someone purchased the whole thing.
Barnominium on the high ground, a little boathouse down by the water, a full compound. It could be beautiful if someone purchased the whole thing.
That is the vision. Not what is standing. What is there: river lot with a concrete pad at 102; high lot behind it with two sheds; same-size lower lot to the right.
Or three homes
More vertical than horizontal.
Another developer might want to build three homes and go more vertical than horizontal. Beautiful homes, very little land maintenance.
Steve’s take: you can go up three stories at that location, up 30 feet. Buyer confirms that with the village.
No better home site location than between downtown Yorkville and Mike and Denise’s restaurant. Literally the center of the center of town.
Quiet. Private road. No one is ever driving down that street unless they are going to your house.
Incredibly beautiful right there on the water.
One thing Steve really appreciates in summer: those 70-degree summer nights, if you are outside, you can gently hear the music from downtown on the weekends, up until about 9:30, 10 o’clock. He just loves it.
